Wiierdo!

I probably didn't mention this on my blog here before, but if you're a friend on Facebook, you might know that for the past few months, my Wii hasn't been working properly. Basically, it will do everything but play games...Which is the whole reason I bought it...so yeah. I sent it in to Nintendo to have it fixed, and they just sent me an email saying that it's coming back to me within 3-4 business days! Yay!

Yesterday was pretty cool because I met Olivia Munn! She was even skinnier than I thought she would be in person. It was kind of surreal because I felt like I was watching an episode of Attack of the Show but just really close up. She signed her book that I bought (and read that day), as well as my iPhone case. This is a photo of her thumbs-upping with me!

Pretty neat, eh?!  Also note how I'm wearing my SNES belt buckle which I made myself! All the buttons still work and everything. While I was in the line to get her to sign my stuff, I chit-chatted with a bunch of other nerds. It was fun. They told me about what games they were playing, I told them about the games I was playing, etc. They thought I was in some sort of time warp, though because I happen to still play NES and SNES titles. I thought most people who still had working systems did.

Oh well!

I have changed the layout of my blog here just a smidgen, as well as my CWE layout. I have also monetized CWE so if you click a link to an ad, I will get paid money! So do it!

Bye now.

Well, I finished "Assassin's Creed 2" the other day, and realized that I missed one of the achievements in the game, and you can't go back to retry that stage to get the achievement.  Ridiculous!  So I played through the game again until I got to that point and got the achievement.  5 gamer points later, I've got the game packed up for return mailing to Gamefly.

I've burned 5 lbs. so far. Not bad for only having been on this diet for 8 days or so. Also, I found that my endurance is getting just a little bit better. I'll be updating here whenever interesting things happen as far as weight burning goes.

I updated the look of my other (more awesome) blog, Celebrities Without Eyebrows. Tell me if you like it or don't!

Anyway, time to vacuum! Bye.

My head is throbbing!

I have a headache.  I've been getting headaches a lot recently. I don't really understand why.

Recently, I started playing Words With Friends (Scrabble for the iPhone) against my high school Creative Writing teacher, and I have to say it's completely cathartic to play excellent words with high scores against him. It's like a rite of passage for English nerds.

I kind of fixed my Wii recently. It's still inconsistent, though. Sad.

We've been holding this moment for you.

Last night, Michelle, Natalia and I went to see Clash of the Titans, which wasn't all that great. I definitely like the original more.  What does bother me about both movies, though, is that the Kraken wasn't even in Greek mythology. Also, there isn't even one appearance by one Titan in either movie.  So it goes.

I've been doing laundry all day, watching Law & Order. I think I may have seen every single episode (excluding episodes released within the past 2 or 3 years).  Also, I started playing "Ico" again.  By "again," I mean that I finally decided to play through for more than an hour. It's kind of a hard game to get into, even if you like the prequel, "Shadow of the Colossus."

Time to go outside and do something fun!  Bye.

He Should Work on Space Invaders Next!

I've changed my layout on here, and I think it looks lovely!  Thanks Natalia for helping me figure out the html! I spent way too long on fine-tuning the colors on this blog. Let me know what you think about it.

Someone blasted away the world record high score for Asteroids recently.  What's crazy is that he played for 58 straight hours, and beat the score that was set in 1982.  That's before I was born. Congratulations, man. You have achieved a dream!

Bye!

You Hillbilly!

Well, I spent most of today enjoying springtime weather. Does "Springtime Weather" sound like a song from the 60s? I think so.

I know hardly anyone reads this blog, but I thought I'd give my mom a bit of free advertising. Her musical talent is solid and classic. She's a singer/songwriter whose voice is ethereal and breathy at times, but full at others. Though she's only accompanied by her guitar, it's not a lonesome sound. Anyway, you should give her a listen.

Right now, the sun shines in my eyes. Bells of train track crossings ring and my patio door is open. Trash bags sit on my porch, waiting for me to transfer them into the dumpster several yards away. After that, someone will dump them into a truck, then onto a landfill. Then they will decompose.

But isn't that the fate of us all?

I beat the original Bioshock game again. It's awesome still, even after the second one changed the play mechanics. Apparently, Valve is making another Portal game, and I am really excited.

What do you think of this?
